Episode 3: Kimberly Landle & Maria Vattimo
After enduring an abusive relationship, Kim Landle made it her mission to use her voice to raise awareness about domestic abuse. She launched a contemporary ballet company and uses her performances to advocate for women and survivors of abuse. The short documentary “Kim” is a raw and powerful film about her experiences and her ability to use the power of dance to overcome her situation. We sat down with Kim and Maria Vattimo, the award winning director whose documentary projects have taken her across the United States in an effort to illustrate the human spirit for a frank and emotional discussion about KIM the movie and the women behind it.
*KIM is the first release in Craft — a film series that explores under represented artists and makers across America that turned their passion into purpose.
